Technical Learning Solutions Lead

The roleAs part of our Human Resources group, the Technical Learning Solutions Lead will provide assistance and guidance to a range of subject matter specialists, stakeholders and Managers to identify and drive specific Technical Learning Solutions aligned to business needs.You will be responsible for delivering specific Technical Learning Solutions, building Technical Learning pathways and establishing an internal trainer’s network within Saab.Further, the successful candidate will:

• Support the development of professional learning environments by strengthening networks between SME’s, trainers, mentors, Industry and vendor partners within and beyond Saab to improve learning outcomes for Saab technical personnel
• Lead the implementation of a range of development solutions to improve the career growth progression for Saab technical personnel and business outcomes
• Partner and collaborate with internal SME’s and colleagues to drive impactful and supportive learning echo systems, methods and network
• Assist in identifying training needs and opportunities and recommend suitable methods to address skills and knowledge gap through a technical training plan
• Develop relevant and up-to-date course content and internal training courses in line with the ongoing needs of the business and configure these as online and self-paced where possible

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.About youYour skills and experience will include:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or experience working in Technical Training, Learning & Development or Human Resources (desirable)
• Experience working in engineering and highly technical environments
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or ability to obtain
• Sound ability to interact with and work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholder groups
• Experience successfully supporting and leading technical training projects
• Demonstrated organisational, project management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills to deliver strategic and operational outcomes
