Technical Officer

Programmed Skilled Workforce are looking for an experience Field Technician based in Port Pirie. Our client is a successful, modern water utility that is wholly owned by the Government of South Australia. They employ more than 1,400 South Australians across a broad range of disciplines who operate over $14 billion of assets.

They deliver essential water and sewerage services to more than 1.7 million South Australians. They operate in a geographically and climatically diverse service area, with sites and locations from Ceduna through to Port Augusta, the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands, across to the Riverland and down to Mount Gambier, and most places in between. The Field Technician role will be responsible for: Preventative and emergency maintenance Fault finding and resolution Undertaking assessments, repair services Installation of extensions and new connections Repairing water pipes Efficient and effective customer delivery.
