Technical Operations Lead - Information Systems

We are seeking a Technical Operations Lead to work with our internal IT infrastructure. This role will include the management and mentoring of an IT Support Officer. 

About the Role: 

• Lead IT operations: Collaborate with MSP to design, deploy, and maintain server and network infrastructure. Ensure robust backup strategies and disaster recovery testing. Administer OS and monitor system performance for optimal operation. 
• Implement Projects: Define scope, timelines, and resources. Coordinate project teams, track progress, and resolve issues. Provide direction and support for successful project execution. 
• Oversee IT Support: Resolve complex technical issues, optimize systems, and monitor performance. Facilitate vendor coordination and maintain compliance with IT standards. Cultivate a secure IT environment through policy implementation and incident response. 
• Vendor Management: Establish KPIs and SLAs. Foster positive relationships, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery.

About you?

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (MCSE)
• Extensive experience in mid-range commercial IT operations
• Strong networking skills
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Experience with IBMi environment a bonus
