About the OPPORTUNITY
Kinetic IT is continuing to grow! We are establishing a new team, working with a new Federal Government customer and looking for talented and motivated individuals to join us as we embark on our next exciting partnership.
This brand-new role for a Technical Operations Manager to lead and manage a team of ~15 technical individuals, driving the performance of the team as well as providing key focus on optimisation of the operational infrastructure environment.
This role is a people focussed role, focussing on our crew and customer. We are not seeking a technical expert but someone with experience leading technical teams and knowledge across different technologies, in particular with infrastructure and Cloud technologies.

You are someone who identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience and realise operational efficiencies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Current active Government Security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain higher level
- Experience managing technology teams ideally with an infrastructure background
(engineers will be focused on Cloud, Security, Networks) - Experience in the people management of large teams of 10+
- Previous experience working in complex multi-vendor enterprise environments with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a service delivery role with understanding of customer SLA agreements & metrics, working towards deliverables across the account
- Excellent written, oral and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in business report writing
