Our long-standing crew of ten, packed with expertise, is on the hunt for a stellar Technical Operator to join our Perth team. As part of our team, you'll work alongside dedicated Technical Operators, Broadcast Maintenance and Support specialists, and Broadcast IT professionals to deliver top-notch support to the Seven Perth News editorial and operations teams.

About the role
- Arrange and coordinate broadcast media exchange according to news editorial requirements working closely with the News operational team.
- Operate robotic cameras in a studio/control room environment and Quality control of studio vision.
- Operate broadcast technical equipment including but not limited to signal routing, signal control systems, camera and robotic control systems, communication systems and other broadcast computer interfaces.
- Liaise with the technical support team to ensure business continuity.
About You
- An excellent communicator with the ability to work under pressure and quickly respond to changing editorial requests and direction.
- Possess reasonable knowledge of television fundamentals and broadcast vision/audio signals.
- Proficiency in operating broadcast, media, and newsroom systems (desirable).
- Strong understanding of computer-aligned technologies (desirable).
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies in broadcast and media environments.
