About role :

As a Technical Partner Manager – NetApp at Ingram Micro, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success for our partners. Your responsibility yes will include evangelizing NetApp solutions, empowering partners with technical competency, and providing vital support throughout the sales process. Building strong relationships, both internally and externally, will be essential as you collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategic plans and ensure partner success. Join us in shaping the future of data management and technology innovation as we work together to unlock the full potential of our partners and their clients.

  • Drive excitement and interest in NetApp solutions and technology through creative content mediums and events, aligning technical vision with market strategies.
  • Enable partners with technical skills necessary for pre-and post-sale support, aligning with partner growth objectives.
  • Coordinate technical support activities, ensuring partner needs are addressed effectively and timely.
  • Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders both within NetApp and partner organizations.
  • Develop and execute business and technical strategies aligned with partner needs and NetApp's account strategy.
  • Develop engaging content around NetApp's portfolio tailored to partner needs.
  • Identify and influence enhancements to channel business processes.
  • Ensure consistency and integration of Partner Technical Lead (PTL) activities across channels.

Job Requirements:

  • Stay updated on partner news, technology trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Possess a strong technical background, preferably in storage or related fields, with proficiency in areas like virtualization, cloud, and networking.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent enterprise technology work experience, preferably with technology vendors in systems engineering, consultative or other customer-facing roles. .
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; or equivalent is required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise partners.
  • Certifications in relevant areas such as Public Clouds are desirable but not required.
  • NetApp technical skills or storage preferred. 
  • Technical skills in one or more of the following is preferred:  Virtualization, cloud, Automation and orchestration, Windows, UNIX/LINUX, storage networking, networking, Data Protection
