We have an opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to work with our team to deliver small to medium sized Electronic Security projects from our office in North Parramatta.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects, provide technical support, and maintain high standards of customer service.
Duties include:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure projects are delivered as quoted to customers.
- Prepare project documentation including, ‘As Built’ drawings, cable schedules and Inspection Test Plans as required.
- Coordinate with the logistics department to procure necessary parts from suppliers for job requirements.
- Schedule jobs for pre-engineering in the workshop prior to installation.
- Organise the rental of equipment such as scissor lifts when needed.
- Ensure all parts are prepared and ready for technicians before installation.
- Schedule technicians and contractors for project installations and service calls.
- Remotely commission sites prior to and during installations where required.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre to ensure ongoing site monitoring and managed services.
- Onboard customers by providing system training and support.
- Offer technical support to customers and technicians.
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries promptly.
- Create, price, and send service quotes to customers.
- Invoice Electronic Security jobs accurately.
- Address and resolve customer complaints regarding service quality and invoicing.
- Technical background in Electronic Security installations and service
- Proficiency in Simpro software would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace
- Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
- Class 2BC security licence
