AddressOne of Sydney’s LGA's are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Technical) to manage an exciting project. The role is a contract for 12 months.
The project includes open spaces, streetscapes, roads and footpaths and other public domain features.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage the public domain, pedestrian and traffic engineering capital works and/or design projects and management of internal and external staff, consultants and contractors.
- Work through all project phases including initiation, design, documentation, construction commissioning and finalisation.
- Ensure delivery is within time, cost, safety, environmental and quality expectations including agreed programs and budgets.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in building, construction or other relevant discipline
- Current Class C driver's licence
- Candidates must have at least 5-10 years of experience and ideally have a portfolio of project work they have been involved in or spear headed.
- High level verbal, oral and written communication skills
- Extensive experience managing project budgets, project plans, cost plans and work breakdown structures
- Project Management experience ranging from engaging consultants, writing project briefs, project conception through to site investigation, brief preparation, design development and documentation, supervision of consultants and contractors, and contract acquittal
