Braemac is an Australian-based global value-add engineering design services business with distribution, specialising in supplying semiconductors, electronic components, interface products, systems and more.
We are looking for an experienced Sales professional to join our growing Victorian team.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for growing existing business and generating new business opportunities that deliver profitable results.
The Technical Sales Representative is the overall Account Owner for their assigned customers and will ensure, through delegation, that all aligned resources deliver a brilliant customer experience.
You will be responsible for building key customer relationships and ensuring Braemac has extensive horizontal and vertical coverage within your assigned customer accounts.
Experience in supply to the local electronics industry is highly desirable, as is any technical or electronics training. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sales, able to work within a team, customer-focused and dedicated to keeping up with the latest technologies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Creating the overall strategy for assigned accounts.
- Managing the interface between the account and internal teams.
- Defining opportunities and initiatives.
- Conducting regular account reviews and provide business updates to key. stakeholders, both customer- and Braemac-based.
- Creating account leverage across the breadth of the portfolio.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years as a Sales Professional/Account Manager.
- Track record of successful performance in a high-focused, high-performance and high-intensity environment.
- Strong business insight of the electronics/embedded markets.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Strong Communication skills: Producing and giving presentations, interacting, developing, and growing relationships.
- Successful track record of developing new customers and increasing sales and profitability.
- Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-driven and independent is a must.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT), and web-based CRM tool.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
