Technical Sales Representative (Dry Ice Products)

We are a dynamic and growing company with an innovative product including our market leading industrial Dry ice blasting solutions. We are seeking a Sydney based Technical Sales Representative (Dry Ice Products)that will report directly to the General Manager. The role will include a variety of account and new business and will offer a good deal of autonomy for the right candidate. Preferably with previous Technical Sales experience and success in developing new leads and converting to sales. Your primary responsibility will be to expand sales in your territory in accordance with sales targets and KPI’s.

Tasks will include:

·         Creating the overall strategy for assigned existing clients and new accounts

·         Gain comprehensive insight into our product line, encompassing Dry ice blasting equipment.

·         Identify new clients through business development activity

·         Undertake client site surveys and provide technical cleaning/maintenance solutions to warehouse and manufacturing sites

·         Provide technical demonstrations of the capital equipment you are selling

·         Maintain an effective CRM system

·         Sales activities will include regular correspondence with client’s technical personnel and management who will require assistance with commercial modelling and business case justification.

Necessary Skills/Experience

·         At least two years sales/BDM experience in a similar role

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher education in related fields will be looked upon as a huge plus

·         Demonstrated experience in targeting new clients, converting into sales and increasing the client base

·         Sales experience with capital equipment products preferred

·         Technical understanding of equipment and mechanical aptitude and the ability to demonstrate to customers.

·         High level of customer service, communication and negotiation skills

·         Dynamic and driven to succeed in sales

·         Full drivers licence

·         Ability to think on your feet / outside the box

·         Ability to reach targets and adhere to budgets
