Sapio is looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to manage the day to day of the NSW Service technicians and effectively understand the technical requirements of Sapio’s major customers to ensure a high-level service is provided. This role will be based in our West Ryde office, but will require travel to the Newcastle office.
The Technical Services Manager will ensure the uptime and reliability of access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring systems provided and maintained by Sapio.
Key responsibilities:
- To be the central point of contact for our NSW Service Technicians and sub-contractors a team of approx. 16 field technicians.
- Assist the Minor works team where possible
- Assist with Service Estimations by providing technical assistance
- Assist the Central Service Estimator to generate ‘quick quotes’ for small to medium service and minor work
- Ensure Sapio’s systems are updated on entry into a new customer contract or following pricing updates.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Sapio’s key account requirements/KPIs and provide direction to service centres nationally
- Ensure Technician’s stock is at the right levels to ensure first time fix
- Ensure that the NSW Service Technicians and sub-contractors have the right level of technical training to achieve first time fix & maintain technician skills matrix
- Provide onsite supervision / training where needed
- Provide urgent service response where necessary
- Miscellaneous administration tasks as necessary to support the Service Delivery Team.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the technical configuration of electronic systems and provide direction to the service admin team and Technicians for the requirements of best practice repair, maintenance and upgrade
- Provide remote support for key accounts/customers
- Identify opportunities and provide expertise that will encourage the customer to expand their usage of Sapio services.
To be successful you will require the following:
- NSW Security Licence
- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution and analysis skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team player who professionally interacts and collaborates with colleagues at work.
- A positive "can-do" attitude, flexible and adaptable in a consistently developing environment.
- Relevant qualifications with at least 5 years proven practical experience in a related work environment.
- A background, or exposure to the IT, ICT, Technology and, or Software industries is desirable
- Computer literacy – MS office plus experience with various workplace systems including electronic timekeeping or similar platforms.
