The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Specialist - Operations and Maintenance Contracted Services to join our Operations team in Perth on a permanent full time basis.
Reporting to the Manager Operations and Maintenance Support & Strategy, you will play a key role in driving improved contractor performance at key APA assets operated by external O&M service providers
The role is flexible with a preference for a Perth based employee with hybrid home and office work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build better relationship with our Strategic Contractors
- Execute Contract Management obligations
- Drive improved contractor performance and maximise profitability through rigorous negotiation, performance management and assurance
- Financial and budget management for owner contracts including foreign exchange requirements
- Strong Customer focus with an ability to identify and embed improvements to business processes
- Experienced in driving improved contractor performance
- Skilled at negotiation for new and flexible contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers
- Proven ability to coordinate internal and external service providers and technical experts to effectively manage O&M contractors
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports and documents
- Tertiary qualifications or work experience in related area
