Contracts Specialist

Role Responsibilities:

• Offer robust commercial guidance to the Delivery Team for intricate R&D capital projects. 
• Execute various sourcing tasks such as crafting strategies, negotiating, and executing contracts for construction, supplies, and consultancy services. 
• Oversee contract administration tasks including ensuring compliance, evaluating claims, and resolving disputes efficiently. 
• Identify significant issues warranting escalation to senior management or legal advisors, seeking guidance as necessary. 
• Demonstrate expertise in negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving to ensure favourable contractual results for the company.

Candidate Experience:

• Extensive knowledge and ability in managing end to end procurement activities for capital contracts
• Proven experience in Tendering, evaluation, contract drafting, & negotiation experience 
• Proficiency in claims management and achieving favourable commercial results; 
• Proactively managing stakeholders and fostering robust relationships; 
• Successfully juggling competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
