Based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will be the first point of contact for our authorised Mercedes-Benz workshops, providing proactive technical support, ensuring timely and effective resolutions are achieved for complex technical, electrical and mechanical concerns across the entire Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car range.

Your key duties & responsibilities will include:
- Assist the retail network to efficiently resolve complex technical concerns though phone, online and face-to-face methods
- Work closely with the region Technical Service Manager to ensure proactive technical support is provided to the retail network, ensuring technical concerns are resolved efficiently and effectively
- Attend appropriate technical training when / as required
- Attend and have input into planning and presentation of regional technical meetings
- Collect, analyse, and report on product quality trends and reports from retailer network
- Support all business units for technical related topics
- Assist in the creation of technical bulletins and local TIPS (Technical Information for Problem Solving) documents for the retailer network
- Travel Local & Interstate to provide technical support if or when required

This is a local, contract role. You must have a valid working visa for Australia / New Zealand for the entire length of the contract, to be able to apply for this position.

- Hold a recognised technical automotive qualification, for example; trade certificate as a result of having served a formal apprenticeship in automotive repairs, or a post trade qualification from a recognised service provider in a specialised technical subject related to the motor industry
- Exceptional problem solving capability
- Demonstrated history of and passion for providing exceptional customer service standards at all times
- Extensive product knowledge of Mercedes-Benz Cars (MBC) and experience in the service and repair of motor vehicles, including on MBC product is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess a positive, self-motivated outlook coupled with the ability to think analytically, tactfully and diplomatically
- Growth mindset
- Ability to effectively coach/influence positive change
