The positionAs a Technical Helpdesk Engineer, you will be a valued member of the front-line team who assists our customers with their technical questions.
An average day may include any or all of the following tasks:
- Answering calls, live chats, and/or emails from customers
- Performing Linux and cPanel server administration and troubleshooting
- Diagnose issues with domain names
- Monitor and respond to service alerts
This is a permanent full-time position on a 24/7 rotating roster with five weeks of annual personal leave and two weeks of sick/carers leave.
All team members work from our brand new office in Southport.
The right person (is it you?)As this is usually an entry-level position, previous experience is not a requirement as we provide six weeks of comprehensive training to successful candidates.
To be the best in this role we are looking for people with the following attributes:
- A passion for technology (cyber security, gaming, PC building, etc.)
- The ability to absorb information and learn quickly
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude towards our customers and service delivery
- Attention to detail
Any previous experience in the following areas would be highly regarded:
- cPanel (WHM)
- Domain names
- DNS
- CloudLinux and CageFS
- KVM virtualisation
