This is a pivotal, hands on role with a significant opportunity to positively impact and support NRG’s customers. Processing a high volume of in-bound calls and emails per day, you will be responsible for providing Technical Support and troubleshooting to new and existing customers.
This position will suit someone who is currently in a customer service and tech support role that focuses on providing a high-quality resolution for the customer. The ideal candidate will be an engaging and motivated customer service guru who has ideally worked in the solar industry previously or who is passionate about renewable energy.
What you will do
- Engage customers, build rapport and ensure all customers are getting the best value
- Retain existing customers by presenting personalised solutions
- Respond with fast and accurate customer service to customer technical enquiries about their solar and battery storage systems
- Filter incoming calls from customers and determine how best to provide solutions to their queries, including troubleshooting
- Monitor customer’s solar systems through the online dashboard, including alerts
- Complete data entry and general office duties as required

- Guru level customer service when dealing with Technical Support queries
- Experience working within the solar energy industry or an interest in learning about it
- MS Office skills
- Ability to work with technical programs (CRM, Applications, Internet)
- Experience working within a call center, preferably in a Technical Support role
