About the job
The Technical Training Advisor leads the identification, design, development and implementation of Technical Training initiatives aligned to operational and organisational goals. This includes responsibility for managing the Technical Training frameworks that govern high risk work and ongoing collaborative support with stakeholders in training needs assessment to ensure competence across SA Waters workforce. This ongoing opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion.
About the Person
We are seeking a collaborative, proactive training professional who has experience empowering an operational workforce. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships across departments to enable the ongoing training, development and maintenance of currency for our workforce.
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in designing, delivering, and updating Technical Training content, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:
- Contribute effectively to the team ensuring efforts are aligned toward achieving team goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technical providers.
- Scope, plan, design and develop VOC Program for SA Water.
- Collaborate with the subject matter experts to develop and deliver course content tailored to the business unit needs.
Your success in this role will come from:
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, Learning and Development or related discipline and/or extensive experience in a Technical Training role.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of Verification of Competency Programs.
- Experience managing relationships to drive efficient and effective outcomes.
