Form of work We have a unique opportunity for a Technical Writer to join our team and play an integral role in our Kogan.com customer experience of our Exclusive Brand products.
As part of our Purchasing Team, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining high quality and informative user manuals and guides for our customers; this role is key in supporting our customer information, satisfaction and usage of their Kogan.com products, it will also help inform prospective customers to make a purchasing decision!

In this role you'll be responsible for:
Developing, publishing and maintaining high-quality user manuals and guides for Kogan.com customers, to support our customer experience through easy to understand technical information and troubleshooting relating to our products
Reviewing and improving all current user manuals
Collaborating with the broader Purchasing team to gather key product knowledge to support the creation of informative, logical and coherent user guides to support our customer experience
Support the broader Technical Writing Team to create and maintain the User Guide Library for all Kogan.com Exclusive Brands products
Review, research and recommend other modalities (such as videos) to improve ways to communicate user guides with customers about Kogan.com Exclusive Brand products
Work with our Customer Care Team to provide recommendations, input and content for training guides and materials for customer-facing team members
Proactively identify areas of opportunity and improvement to enhance our User Manuals, Quick Start Guides and related Technical communications to our customers and internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you should be:
University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, Arts, Literature or similar)
An effective communicator , with a proven ability to bring a brand voice to life and create engaging copy which supports achieving business outcomes
Have a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, through exceptional communication and engagement
Able to manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly Experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Project Management, ChatGPT systems will be highly preferred
Comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Being agile and adaptable is key to success!
