Technical Writer to join the AHS projects team. Reporting to the Project Manager - Ops Support, this role is responsible for aiding in the creation of Product User Guides, Safe-Work Instructions and any supporting document requiring task-based objectives including the facilitation of approval flows for our document control systems associated with deployment of Fleet Management and Autonomous Haulage (AHS) products to operational sites. Attention to detail as a key requirement in this role, as is communicating with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
Key Responsibilities- Working with project teams and other key stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation.
- Translating complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
- Ensuring that the content meets the needs of the target audience.
- Utilising excellent skills in grammar and referencing.
- Providing effective and efficient reviews for content created by others, based on relevant style guides.
- Offering guidance and support in line with documentation best practices.
- Processing of documents in line with control process.
Qualifications and Experience- High level of written and verbal communications skills.
- Current experience in the resource sector.
- Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF tools.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with highly confidential matters.
- Able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
- Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
- Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and validate the information with the document author.
- Ability to establish rapport and working relationships with a variety of personalities.
- Experience with Document Control processes
