Scope of Work
To provide technical writing expertise to support the Communication Competence Framework, to govern and manage the Communications Branch controlled documentation.
Key Objective
The role is required to lead, edit, write, review, and test high-quality technical work instructions and training documentation, interpreting technical concepts and information into a form set out in the Competency Framework as well as understood by various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview and work collaboratively with the Communications staff and other subject matter experts to determine documentation requirements to clarify technical concepts
- Contribute technical expertise and knowledge to engineering, design, maintenance, and commissioning, inspecting, testing, reviewing, investigating, and any other arrangements necessary to support the operation; carrying out delegated arrangements to achieve business objectives appropriately and to management expectations
- Develop and maintain the branch’s controlled documentation standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and compliance of performance across the branch providing professional leadership and participating in working groups and meetings to drive the continuous improvement of quality documentation
- Increase branch awareness of the document hierarchy and establishes clear document interfaces to ensure the accuracy of documents is maintained;
- Compile reports related to branch procedures and other documents; ensuring that reports and advice are undertaken within the prescribed framework by standards.
