- Become an expert user of Fivecast software products and turn complex information into clear learning content and instructions
- Update and maintain detailed and technical user manuals of our software products
- Update and maintain in-app help content
- Create “how to” videos of our software for our customers
- Create release notes: the technical documentation produced and distributed alongside the launch of a new software product or a product update
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
- Work closely with our Product Managers to be aware of any upcoming new features and product road maps to ensure new content is ready for production releases
- Work closely with our Customer Success (tradecraft) teams globally to develop a strong understanding of how our products are used by our customers
- Work alongside our UX Design team to develop training elements congruent with the user experience and our design process
- Assist in preparation of product information and features for tender templates, responses and grant submissions
- Support our Product Management team with various logistics, administration, stakeholder engagement and communication duties
- Australian citizenship required- due to eligibility for NV1 defence clearance requirement for the role
- Bachelors degree in UX Design, Communications, Marketing, Business, Software Engineering, Language Studies or similar.
- 2-5 years’ of experience in content creation, technical writing and/or learning design within a software company or related experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to digest technical information and transform that into content suitable for delivery
- Have an end-user focus to be able to prioritize the needs of our customers in developing compelling and accessible training content and information
- Strong stakeholder management skills, being able to ensure the right teams are up to date on your work progress and timelines
- Organised, proactive with the ability to be self-motivated and work with a high level of autonomy
- An interest in software development as well as counter terrorism, counter-intelligence, cyber threats, and border security issues

Our Adelaide based headquarters is a purpose-built tech hub centrally based in vibrant Hutt Street. We moved into this brand-new space in early 2023 to allow for continued collaboration, innovation & growth.
Our space has been specifically engineered for brainstorming, idea generation, random encounters across teams and to suit our casual, relaxed culture. This has been achieved through amazing features, including an arcade room, pool table, fully equipped kitchens with fruit and snacks, barista quality coffee machine, end of trip facilities (showers, lockers, bike storage, etc), as well as comfortable breakout spaces.
