About the role
Reporting to the Instructional Design Team Leader, the Technical Writer will be accountable for designing, developing, and evaluating training material and resources to ensure they meet business and learner requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including resource guides, assessment tools, instructional documentation and business facing documents
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and completeness
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet agreed deadlines
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand the needs of the audience
- Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to perform peer content reviews quickly and accurately
- Continuously improve documentation by incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders
- Ability to work with and develop templates based on corporate style guides
- Ability to proactively communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations (estimation, timeframes, complications)
- Understanding of tool capabilities and their limitations, with the ability to select the appropriate tool for each project
What you’ll bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in English / Journalism / Technical Writing (desirable)
- Previous experience within a similar position developing training material and resources to support blended learning methods
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technical field
- Experience producing professional content using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or similar
- Solid experience with Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and management, and customer service
- The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment aimed at driving business transformation
