About the Roles:
The roles are full-time in Morningside and / or Lytton.
The Accessory Fitter, you'll be responsible for installing a wide range of products on the latest industry model vehicles. From safety beacons to trays and bull bars, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional finished product that our loyal customers expect.
- Installing and fitting accessories on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and meets customer expectations. Working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain workshop efficiency.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to the Toyota product range.
The Technician role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicles according to Toyota's standards and warranty guidelines. You'll provide expert mechanical advice, ensure safe work practices, and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Offering expert mechanical guidance on vehicle conditions.
- Performing thorough diagnostics to ensure vehicles operate correctly under warranty, including repair or replacement of faulty components.
- Handling repairs on various mechanical parts such as engines, transmissions, and suspensions.
- Communicating all necessary work, service, or repairs to the Service Manager and documenting details in internal databases.
- Coordinating part orders required for warranty services.
- Mentoring and supporting apprentice service technicians.
- Staying updated on mechanical issues and updates related to dealership products.
- Upholding a safe work environment by ensuring proper tool and equipment operation.
- Promoting safe work practices among staff members.
- Conducting test drives and final assessments before vehicle delivery or return.
So Who Are We Looking For? The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong communication skills.
• Relevant trade qualifications and experience with passenger & light commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Current manual driver’s license.
• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
• Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
• Road Worthy Certifier qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Toyota dealership experience is an advantage but not essential
