Technician - Garage Doors & Gates

PT Doors Menai is currently looking for our newest team member: a multi-skilled and driven individual who has both trade skills and a passion for premium customer service.

Ideally, you have experience in a similar role (in garage door installations, construction or other trades), a willingness to collaborate with a supportive team and an enthusiasm for providing great service to customers when completing projects.

About the role, job tasks and responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be responsible for garage door installation and repairs, including roller doors, sectional doors and tilt doors. You will also work to install and automate gates and commercial roller shutters.

A huge part of the role also involves customer service and education, as we are passionate about providing holistic service that we can all be proud of!

You will be provided with all the tools and equipment necessary to complete projects efficiently, independently and according to industry standards. And here’s a promise: no day is ever the same at PT Doors – every day is an opportunity to explore, be creative and gain more industry experience.

Required skills and experience

• Current driver’s licence (your manual truck is waiting for you!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Organisational and time management skills 
• Experience in servicing and fitting/installing Garage Doors, gates and shutters 
• Construction, Fitters or Mechanical background 
• Ability to work well under pressure, follow instructions and show initiative
