Eco Garage Doors has an extensive wholesale channel consisting of authorised dealers right across Australia. Our wholesale channel is responsible for the sell-through of our category leading sectional, roller and custom garage doors to a diverse portfolio of metro and regional authorised dealers. With a committed approach to relationship-based trade, the wholesale department plays a critical role in Eco Garage Doors market share and our brand equity. 

About the Role

As Business Development Manager – Wholesale and reporting to the State Manager - NSW, you will be a frontline advocate for Eco Garage Doors, promoting and safeguarding our brand within the independent garage door reseller community. You will be responsible for the sales performance and end-to-end servicing of dealer accounts in New South Wales. You will be required to manage a range of existing accounts as well as rapidly canvass and develop new business. This position necessitates extensive travel, with the successful candidate expected to be away for at least one week each month. The Business Development Manager – Wholesale will possess a strong track record of managing independent accounts whilst achieving internal sales targets. They will thrive on lead generation, customer engagement, and driving growth for our Metro and Regional accounts. Process driven with outstanding attention to detail and have the ability to deliver results for both their accounts and Eco Garage Doors. Understand our product and purpose inside out and will be on the road building and maintaining relationships by delivering an industry-leading service selling our category leading suite of garage door solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Extensively canvass for new accounts to expand distribution of Australia’s premiere sustainable garage door brand
  • Build and foster authentic relationships with our dealers with a focus on quality, retention, and growth
  • Conduct face-to-face customer visits and cross -functional meetings with a focus on KPI’s and strategic partnership growth
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Represent and showcase Eco Garage Doors at industry events and other forums
  • Train and manage our wholesale authorised dealers to meet our quality and presentation standards
  • Manage nominated accounts as set by the State Manager - NSW
  • Other adhoc sales support tasks

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales within the building supplies industry is desirable but not essential
  • Hunger for new Business Development with proven success as a field sales representative, preferably in the building supplies industry
  • Proven trach record in generating new business and exceptional account management
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Process driven approach to workflow with the ability to manage multiple projects and client needs in a timely manner
  • Willing to travel extensively across New South Wales.
