WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS• Competitive salaries including Short-Term Incentive Bonus• Additional employer superannuation contributions which depend on the level of employee contributions you choose.• Participation in the Employee Share Plan• Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policyABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent position on a Sportsman DS/NS even time roster, DIDO from our Boddington Bauxite Mine, is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).As the Technician Maintenance Heavy Diesel, you will be responsible for the Service, Maintenance & Repair of our Mobile Equipment Fleet.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: • Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures.• Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions as directed by the supervisor maintenance or superintendent maintenance. • Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment as per the SAP process. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards and participate in workplace investigations or observations as required. ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: • Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency.• Current C class driver's license• High risk work license highly desirable- EWP, LF, RB, DG & Overhead CraneQualifications for this position are: • Successful completion of a Heavy Equipment Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship and holds a nationally recognized trade certification.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
