An exciting opportunity exists for a Permanent Full Time Technologies Assistant to join a highly supportive Technologies faculty that is committed to innovative and high-quality teaching.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining workshop tools and equipment, overseeing classroom cleanliness, and organising supplies to facilitate smoother operations for both teachers and students.
The Role
- Experience using a variety of workshop tools and equipment and monitor aspects of WHS to ensure a safe working area.
- Assist in running and supporting computer-aided design such as 3D printers and Laser cutter machine and software applications.
- Conducting regular maintenance of kitchen, equipment and workshop spaces
- Ability to support staff in all TAS areas.
- A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing of young women.
- Qualifications and/or experience working in Food Technology or hospitality. Food Handling Certificate is preferred but not essential
- Skills and prior experience using a variety of workshop tools and equipment and monitor aspects of WHS to ensure a safe working area
- Prepare equipment and resources for practical Technologies classes.
- Outstanding maintenance planning and organising skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated and take initiative.
