Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with GP practices' protocols.
- Perform clinical tasks such as assessments, vaccinations, wound care, and the management of chronic diseases.
- Collaborate with GPs and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Facilitate patient flow, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current RN registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in a GP or clinical setting, with a strong focus on patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cohesively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining clinical excellence.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a specific area of health care, such as diabetes management, pediatrics, or women’s health.
- Additional certifications or training relevant to primary health care.
