SalaryA valued client in the Resources Industry is looking for a Technology Lead to join their team, on a 12-month, fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation and efficiency in IT operations, ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to collaborate closely with their senior stakeholders and devise and execute an integrated strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimization and security of all IT software, systems, and infrastructure the company, driving continuous improvement, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all internal IT administrative tasks, including generating reports.
- Manage various IT systems such as security information systems, communication channels, ERP systems, and server-side applications.
- Provide user training for new technologies and offer internal IT service desk support.
- Develop and execute integrated IT strategies to improve operations.
- Review and revise IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and uninterrupted business processes.
- Coordinate disaster recovery plans and oversee IT system audits, including compliance with audit requirements.
Management of Projects, Teams, and Budget:
- Lead and implement IT projects within defined scope and budget.
- Manage IT team performance, resource allocation, and budget planning.
- Identify and deploy cost-effective solutions to boost productivity.
- Foster productive relationships with team members, other departments, and external IT service providers.
- Engage stakeholders to align expectations with organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of IT technologies, business applications, and cybersecurity.
- Have experience in IT project management, vendor management, and compliance audits.
- Familiar with SAP finance and Soxs auditing system.
