We are a dynamic Australian owned manufacturer in the design and manufacture of custom vibration isolation products using engineering polymers primarily in marine and industrial markets. Our clients include some of the largest engine manufacturers and dealers, and boat builders in Australia, USA, Asia and Europe
We are seeking a keen hands on person to oversee operate basic lathes, cast polyurethane, machine, assemble and package our products to distribute both locally and for export.
Training in both polyurethane and machining will be included
This role would suit you if you are hands on person who loves problem solving, and is keen to put their knowledge and skills from production work area into a new role.
You will be expected to maintain quality standards in line with the Queensland factory. Your role will involve assisting the manufacturing manager.
The position is based in our Coomera, Gold Coast factory
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing
- Machining and assembly of products to tolerance
- Polyurethane casting
- Quality inspection and assurance as per our quality manual
- Review manufacturing process and consider improvements
- Receipt of incoming goods
- Dispatch of components to suppliers
- Dispatch of goods to customers
- Assist in inventory control
- Communication with suppliers
- Communication to customers on receipt and dispatch of orders
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- 3-5 years’ related work experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Microsoft Office skills an advantage,
