At ING, Technology Risk function enables Business and Technology Leaders to make well informed business decisions by providing tailored IT risk and control advice and support. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tech Risk& Governance, Technology Risk Manager plays a key role in driving a proactive risk management capability across the Tribe(s)and Centres of Excellence (CoE)they support, ensuring risk accountabilities are well understood, assigned, and monitored to influence the right risk behaviours.You’ll enjoy this role if you’ve a deep understanding of technology practices and processes in the financial services industry, and are familiar with leading Technology Risk, security, and audit frameworks. You’ll employ a holistic overview of the technology and threat landscape relevant to ING Australia, to identify, assess and monitor key IT risk areas that require improvement and provide insights into the Operational Risk Profile for Technology, in consideration of risk events, issues, risk assessments and control effectiveness within respective Tribe(s) and CoE(s) they support.What you’ll do …
- Oversight of all BAU Technology Risk and control activities for supported Tribes across Retail, Technology, COO, Enterprise, Wholesale Banking and Data.
- Provide advice and challenge on decisions and processes regarding delivered Technology Risks and enhancement/development of technology controls.
- Manage the Technology operational risk profile and IT control first line monitoring.
- Monitor and report (where needed) on the health of IT assets and the overall control environment for the Tribes/ COE’s.
- Keep up to date with threat landscape in Australia and in ING globally to provide these insights to their Tribes/COE’s.
- Certified in one or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM.
- Experience in Risk Management and/or IT Security is essential.
- Knowledge of Banking and relevant External Regulations, processes, procedures, and systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT General Computer Controls (ITGCs), Application-Level Controls, and technical Security Controls from industry frameworks such as NIST and CoBIT.
- Technical understanding of the IT environment, including its architectural direction in context of risk management.
- Experience with the implementation of NFR Framework within business units or Cloud risk is an advantage.
