Form of workOur newly created "Technology Risk Resolution Manger" has been designed specifically to support our Enterprise Services, Technology functions with key operational activities, with an aim of driving continued improvement.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Technology - Service Enablement, this position is required to work closely with our Line 1 Risk & Compliance team, Platform Owners, Technology Leaders and various support teams to ensure Technology risks and controls are effectively managed, and to ensure key operational initiatives are tracked to delivery.
The role is responsible for delivering outcomes on identified improvement areas and will support the end-to-end management of identified operational technology initiatives, operational risk incidents, issues and collaborate with business leaders and delivery leads to define and track action plans to closure. Also, owning, tracking and reporting on the status of these activities and ensuring items are delivered within the required timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business leaders with ongoing tracking and monitoring of remedial action plans and provide insightful reporting and regular updates.
- Be a central owner for items that span across multiple areas to ensure consistency in approach and desired outcomes are achieved.
- Work closely with Line 1 Risk & Compliance teams to drive a positive risk posture for Enterprise Services Technology.
- Identify improvement opportunities and controls across key processes or change management.
- Drive and monitor technology initiatives and required actions to completion such as remediation of internal and external audit issues and actions.
- Establish ongoing operating rhythms and cadences, to ensure teams and stakeholders remain informed and aware of ongoing activities, status and requirements to deliver on outcomes.
Key to success will be collaborating with business leaders & delivery leads to define and track action plans to closure.
Who are we looking for?
Given the nature of this role we need someone who has impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, sound influencing ability & is dedicated to driving desired outcomes. You have bucket loads of initiative & can take a plan through to execution within tight timeframes and competing priorities.
- Relevant experience within the Australian financial services industry, combined with experience in Technology, Technology processes and best practice.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing and changing priorities.
- Strong Relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge and experience with risk management systems including Protecht and Service Now.
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
