Telecommunications Field Engineer

The Role:

As our Telecommunications Field Engineer you will ensure that our business delivers high level of service by planning, designing and monitoring complex telecommunications networks and associated equipment. Provide technical advice and information and identify complex problems and initiates action to resolve them.  

Responsibilities:

·         Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements.

·         Install and service CCTV and PABX systems.

·         Set-up and service telephony and broadband service.

·         Complete cabling at business premises.

·         Prepares the technical documentation for systems and telecommunication requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.

·         Provides ongoing technical support to Support Team.

·         Optimizes systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.

·         Prepares specification of Telecom systems.

·         Prepares telecommunication equipment data sheets.

·         Prepares functional analysis (control, ESD, F&G...).

·         Prepares systems and telecommunication material take-off.

·         Implements detail telecommunication activities (layouts, routings, supports...).

·         Performs the F.A.T. (Factory Acceptance Test)

Skills & Attributes:

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field, preferably 3 years.

·         High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills

·         Management Skills

·         Project Management

Salary: $60000 to $80000
