Karoonda Area School is in a season of growth and renewal with the completion of building upgrades and a new leadership team appointed from 2024. The school has a strong connection to local farming and is seeking a Tech Studies teacher to develop students skills in metal and wood to support their career paths. Our school is also developing connections with local businesses and industry to support students in fabrication and engineering pathways. This full time position includes the opportunity to teach all of the secondary classes across the year in Tech Studies, including SACE Material Solutions. For the successful applicant, there is the opportunity to gain permanency with the Education Department in this role once the probationary period is completed. This position is also open to applicants willing to retrain in Design & Tech, who will be supported by the school to complete the necessary qualifications.
