THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Tenancy and Property Manager will provide services accessible and responsive to the needs of clients including but not limited to tenancy sign up, asset management, maintenance reporting, rent review, complaint management and stakeholder engagement. within the framework of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997.
- Provide property and tenancy management functions for HHS managed housing stock
- Assist clients with application and waitlist management
- Undertake rental management activities such as rent management and property maintenance
- Record and coordinate maintenance requests
- Attend all meetings, seminars, forums and training as required.
- Adhere to the Residential Tenancy Act 1997 as well as organisational policies and program guidelines
- Meet Key Performance Indicators as outlined
- Undertake other duties, functions and responsibilities as directed
ABOUT YOU:
- Experience working in the community service sector and/or real estate in tenancy and property management
- Well-developed negotiation and conflict management skills
- Ability to work within various requirements including program, legislative and budgetary constraints
- An understanding and empathy of the structural constructs of poverty and homelessness
- Ability to work under limited direction
- A knowledge, understanding and empathy of the structural constructs of poverty and homelessness
- A current Real Estate Agents certificate (desirable)
- Sound knowledgeof Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
