About ATOM ATOM specialises in managing and operating bulk fuel terminals across Australia, with services ranging from storage, testing and handling of bulk liquid fuels to maintenance and engineering projects. We have a highly engaged workforce with 88% of employees proud to work at ATOM, based on our 2023 People Engagement Survey.  Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.  About the Role Our Port HedlandTerminal Manager is responsible for managing the on-going operations of our Port Hedland terminal, ensuring safe and successful operations across shipping, product transfer, quality and assurance, and people management and resourcing needs, with due regard to HSSEQ, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships, and customer service. Based at our Port Hedland terminal, our Port HedlandTerminal Manager is also responsible for overseeing rail fleet loading at our Nelson Point, Jimblebar and Whaleback sites, ensuring delivery of a cost-effective operation that adds value to ATOM as a bulk fuel storage and distribution link. Our Terminal Managers are also responsible for generating operational and maintenance budgets, giving input into capital expenditure plans, and handling risk management, given safety is our number one priority. The people managerial aspects of this role call on leadership skills, and coaching & development know-how, to - alongside our Assistant Terminal Managers â?? support a medium-sized operational team (approx. 10) as well as contractors to ensure best operational outcomes. About You The main thing we're looking for is a flexible go-getter with a 'lean-in', team-playing attitude, great communication and leadership skills, and a keen willingness to learn and grow with our company.
