Terminal Supervisor - Electrical

QSL is seeking to appoint a Terminal Supervisor, responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of trades people and operators, at QSL’s Lucinda Bulk Sugar Terminal. You will be involved in varied maintenance projects and will run the site collaboratively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. 

  
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, key deliverables include;

• Leading and developing the team for optimal outcomes and performance 
• Enhancing the culture through leading by example and upholding QSL’s values
• Building key internal and external relationships to deliver value and meet targets
• Effective scheduling and planning tasks, and contractor management
• Problem solving, budgeting, data analysis and reporting
• Maintaining QSL’s safety culture and compliance ensuring the health and wellbeing of all team members, contractors and visitors.

To be considered for this exceptional role you will have;

• An electrical trade background with good knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems and processes
• Electrical Trade qualification, Electrical Contractors license and current driver’s license.
• Leadership and team development experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholders
• Prior job scheduling and planning experience (advantageous) 
• High emotional intelligence and be a self-starter
• Resilience and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
• A passion for safety and continuous improvement
