Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn’t be possible without great people - people just like you.
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated senior supervisor to join our team. This role will see you home every night, working a day shift only - lifestyle roster.
Working in a dynamic and fast paced operational environment, this role will lead a team of Protective Coatings and Structural Maintenance personnel to implement and deliver maintenance in accordance with safety requirements, quality, budget, timeframes and resource availability. A key focus of this area is effective management of long-term Protective Coatings and provide structural integrity to the terminal assets through corrosion prevention and Structural remediation based activities.
What we are looking for:

• Proven shutdown and/or maintenance management experience
• The ability to create sustainable working relationships across teams with a focus on developing and modelling proactive safety leadership behaviours
• People management including coaching and mentoring
• Effective planning, organisational and time management skills
• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Contractor management experience in an industrial environment
• Mechanical, Fabrication or Industrial Coatings trade qualification is essential.
• Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems (SAP, JDE, Maximo) will be highly valued
• Protective Coatings and Structural management qualifications with prior industry experience will also be highly regarded
