About the Position
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Territory Manager to join a market leading multinational organisation in the consumer goods category. This Territory Manager role will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of products to established business customers across independent grocery and retail channels within Mildura, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential customers.
- Visit current and prospective clients to present products, provide sales consultations, and answer any questions they may have.
- Negotiate sales and close deals with customers.
- Collaborate with other members of the sales team and other departments within the company to develop sales strategies and achieve sales goals.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.
- Build and maintain a strong customer base through regular follow-up and customer service.
- Achieve sales targets and quotas set by the company.
- Travel to customer locations within the designated sales territory.
- Communicate with the manager and provide regular updates on sales activities and progress towards sales goals.
About the Candidate
- Experience in field sales or territory management with a minimum of 1-2 years' sales experience in FMCG.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or a related field is desirable.
- Valid driver's license.
