National Earthmoving dealer is currently building upon its already established name and growing its Sales team here within Australia. They have been developing and winning major relationships within a huge variety of markets from construction through to small contractor customers. They pride themselves on winning relationships but supporting customers throughout all of Australia any time any place. With a strong training development programme and excellent leadership from above the business is key winner for its support to its staff.
POSITION
In your challenging day you’re required to call on the major leaders within the construction equipment market and start rebuilding this territory. You’re to work each client like a fresh new lead offering the full technical support and rebuilding confidence in the market through excellent customer service. At the same time you required to work new areas of the market and sell the equipment through your already established knowledge. To begin with your days will be focussed on building business from ground once making sales and winning business whatever you build in relation to Accounts is yours. So the idea is to get to a point that business is just flowing in from a number of large customers and you’re keeping them happy at all times. You will have full support not just from the State manager but also the operations team that will cover the backend of each sale.
You must have an eye for detail and have your ear to the floor listening for those openings within the market. To begin with this role will be 80% new business 20% account management. Whilst building the relationship within the construction, civil, events, government and council markets you have the advantage to seek new area markets and also oversee a new product lines that it is going to be released early next year.
Your product selection consist of the following
- Excavators
- Articulated Dump Trucks
- Wheel loaders
- Tele Handlers
- Skid Steers
- Backhoe Loaders
We are ideally looking for the following the factor is that you had sales experience and sold into the Sydney markets. You can based anywhere in the Sydney area, we would even look at candidates that live in either the Newcastle, Southern Sydney or surrounding areas to work in this role.
Candidate Key requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven sales experience selling large capital equipment or if you have sold any type of construction product into the key markets like civil or tunnels then I will also you at your experience.
- Good time keeping & Well organised
- Ability to create new business from a cold call
- Proven success in external sales
Salary Package
On offer is base salary ranging from $100,000 + fully maintained company car + 11% superannuation + phone and laptop + Uncapped commission structure, 1.5% on new equipment and 2.0% on used equipment. Full training is given plus regular development from the other branches on new products and attachments. You will also be support by local management and also international management. It’s essential that you can support yourself and be true winner in the national sales team.
