About the Role:
Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager NSW, the Area Sales Manager will drive sales growth within the Western and Central Sydney Territory by cultivating relationships with both new and existing customers. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with approximately one day per week based in our clients Wetherill Park office.
Your primary responsibility is to maintain and develop key clients with the Retailers, Cabbies, Shopfitters & Contractors. This opportunity would suit a sales representative with strong experience out on the road managing a territory previously.
You don’t need the product knowledge, but you must be happy to learn it. You will join a team of four other Area Sales Managers and work remotely on the road most of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand the existing customer base while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and capitalise on new avenues for growth.
- Collaborate with the State Sales Manager to maintain competitive customer pricing and margins.
- Thrive in a cooperative and competitive sales team environment.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Proven track record in sales, including account management and business development.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Effective communication skills across diverse customer segments.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with technology, including the capability to learn new internal systems.
- Professional in both presentation and approach.
$90,000 - $105,000 Base + Super + Car + Fuel Card + Tolls
