An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a proactive medical sales professional to join this market leading company and drive sales for Newcastle and surrounding regions.
The Role
- Maintaining a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform) competitor products disease states and industry compliance
- Demonstrating proficiency in tools of the trade, processes and policies
- Developing sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluate and track the implementation of these on an ongoing basis
- Planning, executing and analysing sales calls to create call-continuity with customers
- Promoting value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and creating solutions to meet customer needs
- Diagnosing and tracking key customer and competitor performance regularly
- Collaborating with the broader team to identify new opportunities
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential
- Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices, however, strong customer facing experience as a pharmacist may also be considered
- Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous
- Business acumen and analytical skills
- Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service to internal and external customers
- Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
- Initiative and pro-activity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo whilst identifying new business opportunity
