As this technology is rapidly changing, it’s an important part of their offering to have a full force of experienced Territory Specialists providing consultation to specialists and general practitioners, ensuring that there is a good understanding of their products and offering in the marketplace. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a proactive medical sales professional to join this market leading company and drive sales for Newcastle and surrounding regions.  

The Role

  • Maintaining a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform) competitor products disease states and industry compliance
  • Demonstrating proficiency in tools of the trade, processes and policies
  • Developing sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluate and track the implementation of these on an ongoing basis
  • Planning, executing and analysing sales calls to create call-continuity with customers
  • Promoting value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and creating solutions to meet customer needs
  • Diagnosing and tracking key customer and competitor performance regularly
  • Collaborating with the broader team to identify new opportunities

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential
  • Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices, however, strong customer facing experience as a pharmacist may also be considered
  • Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service to internal and external customers
  • Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
  • Initiative and pro-activity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo whilst identifying new business opportunity
