THE OPPORTUNITY

We are expanding our Queensland sales team to drive growth in a designated territory both in new and existing business channels. We are looking for a full-time Account Manager to join a well-established and thriving team who are dedicated to provide exemplary results, whilst always looking ahead toward the future. 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be required to maintain and grow our existing customer base, whilst always being on the hunt for new business. There will be a mix of travelling to customers/potential customers sites in your sales territory balanced with working out of our Stapylton branch. This is primarily a face-to-face driven role, where the best results will be captured on the road. 

You will be surrounded by a team that is supportive and driven to succeed, and therefore we desire the following attributes: 

  • Previous experience in business-to-business sales, or even the fire industry is desirable but not essential 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Resilience in a fast-paced selling environment
  • Competent with the Microsoft Suite and CRM’s
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and nurture strong client relationships
  • Be organised, planned and diligent in driving your own sales process
  • Accountable and adaptable; you will take pride in your results and open to learn new processes
  • A team-player; be open to helping the team out in order to succeed, and 
  • Ability to learn, explain and understand technical knowledge and products
