Our client is a household name, and operates in the insurance space, working to improve the lives of people across Queensland. They are currently going through a digital transformation, and as a result, are growing their Quality Assurance / Testing team.
About the role
In this role, you will assist in setting up new Test Automation frameworks and rolling them out to the quality assurance team, contributing to the overall uplift of the automated testing capability across the organization.
Duties
- Set up automation frameworks from scratch
- Develop and execute test scripts, test tools and specifications
- Automate testing processes where appropriate
- Advise on best practice in automation re: tooling and systems
- Support the business to meet the high-quality standards and compliance requirements
- Strong, demonstrable, hands-on, and recent Test Automation experience in Playwright.
- Experience with setting up and maintaining Playwright automation framework
- Demonstrated experience with object orientated programming or scripting skills, especially Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with API, GraphQL and Microservices
- Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD workflows and tools in a cloud environment, particularly on AWS
- Experience with code deployment tools and systems including GitLab, GitHub, Nexus, etc.
- Have a strong, demonstrable understanding of test automation implementations and approaches, environment and data requirements, test scheduling and test deliverables.
- Good communication skills with ability to educate, coach and mentor testers joining in the automation testing.
- Has test automation experience in a cloud environment.
