Brunel has partnered with a key Australian organisation with a depth of experience in owning, developing and operating Australian farmland, agriculture infrastructure and other assets. They now are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Analyst to join their Finance team in Canberra.

- Financial reporting and forecasting- annual budgeting, monthly variance reporting, review capital expenditure
- Asset and lease management- revenue forecasting, asset valuations, water monitoring and compliance
- Managing development projects for existing assets
- Maintaining systems and processes to deliver ongoing performance
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models for potential acquisitions, divestments and developments
- Undertaking in-depth due diligence as part of a transaction team, and assist with legal documentation
- Sponsoring various projects from end-to-end at the direction of the senior management team
- Preparing proposals for consideration by senior management and the Board of Directors
• Supervising, mentoring and training junior staff.
The successful candidate will have: • Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, economics or relevant field
- Have obtained or have the desire to pursue post graduate studies
- Experienced in a similar role, 5+ years analytical or project management experience
- A strong quantitative aptitude, rigorous and creative in developing, and refining financial models
- Prior experience negotiating, interpreting and providing instruction on contractual agreements
- A high level of expertise with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a time-pressured and dynamic environment.Benefits:
