About the role:
As the Test Manager for the data program, you’ll have extensive experience leading testing activities for data warehouse / data migration projects. This type of testing requires in-depth knowledge of how data warehouses are built, and how transformation logic (ETL) works to be able to design the test cases/strategy.
You’ll actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deliver valuable test outcomes that are aligned with scheduled sprints and releases. You’ll also actively identify, develop and adopt continuous improvements to test framework, tools and artefacts aimed at elevating testing capabilities across the software testing life cycle (STLC).
What your day will look like:
- Reviewing requirements, SOW, user stories, design and architecture documents, providing feedback to the delivery team and/or key stakeholders
- Producing and maintaining test strategies, scope, plans and test artefacts to define test activities
- Leading and mentoring test analysts to enable growth and development
- Ensuring user story acceptance criteria is adopted as a key measurement of software testing and defect management
- Improving the quality of Production releases via strategic risk-driven testing
- Improving the capabilities and activities for Test Management
- Minimising production incidents via effective planning and management of end to end testing
- Ensuring test activities and deliverables are aligned to our test standards, guidelines, related processes, templates and work instructions
- Performing and documenting defect management outcomes, including reports and recommendations for action or change
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Solid experience in a similar Test Manager role
- Previous experience developing Test Strategies within a medium to large organisation
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement
- Forward thinking and innovative approach to testing techniques and technologies with a demonstrated ability to improve automated capabilities
- Successful completion of ISTQB Foundation Level and ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certifications

Working Arrangements:
This role is offered on a flexible, hybrid arrangement usually to 2 days per week on site (or depending on project requirements). The role is based at our Brisbane, Adelaide, or Toowoomba offices. Fully remote work will not be considered.
