An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer/Manager to join a worldwide leading system integrator in tolling, ITS & tunnel management systems design, development and deployment.
As a Testing and Commissioning Manager, you will oversee all Testing and Commissioning activities for our projects.
In this role, you will lead a team of Testing and Commissioning engineers, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and according to project timelines. You will be responsible for coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to ensure smooth execution of Testing and Commissioning plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Analysing and managing traceability of engineering requirements from the contract and design to the testing documentation.
- Development and monitoring of the project testing strategy
- Manage the preparation of Testing and Commissioning Plans, Testing Specifications, Procedures and Test Documentation
- Definition and coordination of the testing program for the project, ensuring testing targets and objectives being met as defined in the project program
- Defects management, analysis and reporting
- Coordination of defect triage meetings with the project teams, client and vendors
- Coordinate test environments preparation and releases
- Liaise with the Client and other relevant stakeholders to manage and solve defects and incidents
- Coordinate and communicate with onshore and offshore project teams in relation to Testing and Commissioning activities
- Support the test cases preparation and execution as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing and Commissioning, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience with defect management tools, requirement traceability tools, development management environments and general office tools.
- Experience with SCADA or real-time software preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to adapt and adjust to changing circumstances
- Works effectively both as a team member and independently
- Demonstrates initiative and takes proactive steps
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, conveying information clearly and at the appropriate technical level, whether in written or verbal form
- Aptitude for leading, managing, and coordinating large teams
