Key accountabilities of the role are:
-Complete testing processes and work programs, including:
- planning and managing the process from start to finish.
- researching and understanding business requirements relating to existing and new functionality or system changes.
- preparing of SIT and regression test scripts that adequately test system changes and enhancements.
- identifying and requesting test data required for test scenarios.
- conducting/running test processes and scripts.
- comparing actual results against expected results.
- manage defects/issues and where possible identifying the cause of the defect.
- documenting test results and final reports
- Liaise regularly with business analysts, developers, functional analysts and service management team to plan effectively and perform testing activities within agreed time frames.
- Liaise with business representatives for clarification of requirements and to support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Support, enhance and run automated testing scripts via end-to-end test automation tools, where available.
- Mentor less experienced system testers.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience with one or more system test methodologies.
- One or more test tools and defect management tools with preferences to Tricentis Qtest, HP ALM, and ServiceNow
