Smoke Alarm Testing Services (SATS) is a professional smoke alarm testing company that is locally owned and operated in Australia and New Zealand. SATS have been providing annual services, maintenance, and reporting of Smoke Alarms on behalf of Real Estate Agents and Landlords for over 10 years. Whilst compliance is our core service, we are best known for our ability to go above and beyond when it comes to providing alarms with ease of use, customer service, and state-of-the-art technology.

SATS has recently received private equity backing from PieLAB and is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Accounts and Payroll Officer to assist our Business.  

About the role

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that the bank reconciliation is processed daily to meet accounts processing timelines. 
• Providing assistance with processing of Accounts Receivable across three Companies. 
• High volume Receipting meeting statement deadlines
• Assistance with EOM & EOFY reconciliations
• Assist with analysis for stock/inventory reconciliation 
• Weekly and fortnightly payroll across three Companies based in Australia and New Zealand. 

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be willing to get their hands dirty. 

• Ability to take control of the end-to-end payroll function across Australia and New Zealand. 
• Ability to take the initiative, consider alternative solutions and act autonomously.
• A keen interest in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of clients.
• MYOB experience. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills
• Intermediate Excel skills and computer literacy/tech savvy
• An understanding of trust accounting or Real Estate Agents is highly regarded
