Job DescriptionThe Mask Fit TestingAdministrative Support Officer works within the Health Placement Support Hub and is responsible for providing professional administration services, timely advice, support and liaison to students, staff and external stakeholders in matters relating to Mask Fit Testing and Fit for professional practice requirements and student support. This includes but is not limited to management of booking system, stock, providing timely advice, support and liaising with students, staff and external stakeholders in matters relating to fit for professional practice requirements and student support.
You will:
- Provide and maintain professional, confidential and effective Administrative Support to the Support Hub including reception, telephone, email and general duties.
- Coordinate the administration of Mask Fit Testing including booking system, communications, front desk support and assisting with management of stock.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate and timely data entry in the University’s Sonia Placement System.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of information and reporting between the Support Hub, students, Schools and external stakeholders.
- Provide advice and support to Health Students regarding fit for professional practice requirements, uniforms, and general student support.
- Complete student checks of Fit for Professional Practice requirements. Maintaining privacy, high level of attention to detail and managing competing priorities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.
This is a fixed term (until 31 December 2024), Full time position based at the Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary range
The full-time base salary for HEW Level 4 position is in the range of $68,367 - $72,135 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $76,181 - $80,379 per annum.

- Previous Administrative Officer experience
- Qualifications in a relevant field would be favourable
- The ability to work independently.
- A strong attention to detail.
